1) What schools have good training online. Im looking into Kaplan University. I want more training than the w3school.com can offer.
2) Is this something I should even get into. Im 30 years old and my daughter who is 13 is learning HTML in school.
Has anyone heard of Sessions School of Design

However, as I’m currently thinking of changing careers to become a Web Designer/Developer, I reckon I’ll need to be install various programs to learn this trade (Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.).
So, I’m wondering if it’s a good idea to get a second computer for the main purpose of installing these programs and training as a Web Designer/Developer? If so, what type of computer would you recommend? PC or Mac? Desktop or Laptop? Thanks.
FYI - I’m also thinking of maybe getting a third computer which would be like my “back-alley” computer. This computer would be for other programs I want to try and install (any program, not just web design/development related). It’d be a way for me to try out programs and if I like them, I can install them on my other two computers if I want. I’d probably buy a lower-end computer for this purpose. Does anybody else do this?
